Hodgson Salutes David Ngog

Ngog played alone up front for Liverpool against FK Rabotnicki in Macedonia. His future at Liverpool has been uncertain with reports linking him with a move to West Bromwich. The Liverpool squad that was sent to the third qualifying round was without stars Steven Gerrard, Joe Cole, Jamie Carragher, and Glen Johnson, who were left to train at Anfield while Fernando Torres, Pepe Reina, and Dirk Kuyt are still on holiday.
