United Sign Goalkeeper Lindegaard

Manchester United have completed the signing of 26-year-old goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard from Aalesunds. The goalkeeper from Denmark has signed a deal until 2014, after the 2 clubs agreed on an undisclosed fee. He will train with the Red Devils, but will not be able to make his debut until the transfer window re-opens in January. Sir Alex Ferguson commented, "Anders is one of the brightest young keepers of the game. The challenge is Manchester United is always to look to the future and in Anders, we have signed a goalkeeper of great presence and even more promise." United have signed him Edwin van der Sar is aging and might soon leave the game. Van der Sar is now 40-years old!
