Stoke City 3-1 Blackburn Rovers
Goals from Jermaine Pennant, Glenn Whelan and Peter Crouch ended the Potter's run of four successive Premier League defeat while Blackburn continued to struggle. Their late consolation goal by Ruben Rochina had little impact. Blackburn now sit at the bottom of the table.
Bolton Wanderers 0-2 Everton
Everton recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season as goals scored by Marouane Fellaini and Apostolos Vellios secured victory over 10-man Bolton, with David Wheater sent off for a challenge on Diniyar Bilayetdinov. That was David Wheater's second red of the season.
Chelsea 3-0 Wolves
John Terry scored in the sixth minute by heading home Juan Mata's cross, easing the tension at Stamford Bridge for they had recently lost to Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen. Daniel Sturridge and Juan Mata made it 2-0 and 3-0 respectively, bringing Chelsea to 5th in the table.
Manchester United 1-1 Newcastle United
Manchester United fell further behind in the race for the league title after Demba Ba equalised from the penalty spot. Javier Hernandez had given United the lead early on. Despite the sending off of Jonas Gutierrez, United were unable to get the winner, bringing them 4 points away from Manchester City, who still have a game today against Liverpool.
Norwich City 2-1 Queens Park Rangers
Norwich City opened the scoring when Russell Martin capatalised on Anton Ferdinand's mistake and tucker the ball home. QPR came out strong in the second half and equalised in the 59th. However, they did not produce enough to stop Grant Holt from scoring the winner for the Canaries 17 minutes from full-time.
Sunderland 1-2 Wigan Athletic
Sebastian Larsson put Sunderland ahead after 8 minutes. However, Roberto Martinez's Wigan players got themselves back on track a minute before the break when Jordi Gomez converted from the penalty spot as Larsson's challenge saw Victor Moses go down. Franco di Santo grabbed the late winner for Wigan Athletic.
West Brom A. 1-3 Tottenham Hotspur
West Brom were given an early lead through Youssouf Mulumbu's header, but the Spurs equalised through Emmanuel Adebayor. Jermaine Defoe celebrated his return by scoring Tottenham's second goal. Defoe then struck his seventh goal this season. Adebayor made it three in injury time.
Arsenal 1-1 Fulham
Thomas Vermaelan scored an own goal in the 65th minute, adding even more pressure on Arsenal. However, he redeemed his mistake by heading home the equaliser 8 minutes from time. Arsenal's Premier League misery continues.
