Youngsters Dan Gosling and Jack Rodwell scored
late goals on Saturday night, as Everton came from behind
to defeat 2009 Champions United. Dimitar Berbatov
gave United the lead in the 16th minute, but Everton
equalised through Diniyar Bilyaletdinov a few minutes later.
Man United failed to take advantage of their dominance
of possesion, that could create a goal or two. Gosling fired
the home side ahead in the 76th minute, and Rodwell went
on a weaving run to score Everton's third in the 90th
minute.
Match Quotes: Alex Ferguson said: "It is a bad result for us
at this time of the year. We can't afford a result that we had
today. We hope that others will drop points."
David Moyes said: "We can start looking upwards more
than looking downwards. This was always going to be a tricky
month and we have started it well. It was a great result and
you don't oftenly beat the big teams, so we are delighted. I
think we can play better and I think we will."
